On Foot Conflict Zone AI & Victory Problems

o7 dev and commanders,
i just tried a conflict zone for the first time, was flown there by the dropship, fought few enemies and mainly waited sitting alone on the capture points, since no NPC ever came there to get me. After the enemy tickets ran out, i found it is still necessary to kill all enemies left over to win. However, the remaining six NPCs must be hidden somewhere across the large setlement. They dont move, so now its a very annoying search game. Meanwhile, the friendly NPCs all sit at one spot doing nothin. Its rather ridiculous joining them and hearing 10 voices at once asking Where is the enemy? . This is not a good experience...

Are you aware of this possible situation, or is there some way i should find the enemies i dont know? Thanks

You better capture it in video next time. There are too many ways in CZ for the AI to become broken.

Thats a known ground cz bug where the combatants of both sides are not moving at all. There seem to be also a related bug to this with the arrival of reinforcements that prevents the cz from being finished. Happens from time to time... Just leave the cz via apex taxi and start a new attempt.

its always been a server problem
if the following conditions happen you have to relog you may loose the bonus reward for battle completion but sometimes the game don't end troops just keep coming the cz don't close and therefore its killing spree time getting loadsa bounties till you quit yourself an exit the combat zone on foot till you get the ship recall permission
sometimes this leads to man in the moon (npc stuck under base) also a relog situation
me I am glad this happens as battles can be a little short and not the 3 to 4 hour affairs were you can get well on your way to elite merc rank gold gear when the bug happens(extremely lucrative credit wise too due to all the killings iya happy hunting hours)
otherwise you may need to relog and in some cases choose a different location to fight if you want battles to end normally
the npc are really dumb when it comes to capturing cap points always have been (sometimes they are bang on it though which makes me believe it's server related hell its almost as if the server that gives them any intelligence goes offline)
personally I want thargoid ground attack forces and new ax weapons to kill em lol
(my ground attack tip always choose low g moons with high intensity if possible just use frontline to access battle map only forget the vulture drop ship journey or sign up in the letter box station always use your own ship to get there and sign up for the battle once there via your cz end and stats keybind just land near the settlement )
my other major want I want to be able to land in London(recognizable only by the river thames ) like I used too in back in 1993 and visit the moon not just any old moon the one with the odd orbit and that rings like a bell when hit which I believe to be caused by the orbit giving rise to resonance from gaia it was in 93 that I also saw with my own eyes a ufo over Wimbledon common it dripped what looked like liquid metal that seemd to float back up into it and aint seen one before or since, my dog alerted me to its presence otherwise I don't think I would have seen it it didn't make a sound and was gone in flash of light in under 10 seconds from me spotting it hovering staitonary (saucer shaped molten metalic ball core at center it looked like volcano lava flow over with crakes in it underside dirty like a car with weird ugly manifolds topside pristine white with round windows like a jumbo jet of course I didnt report it and don't expect you to believe me either...………….
and if I dint know any better I could swear they would have been observing the windmill there like a bunch of tourists its placement was the only place to get a good view due to the trees
seeing for me is facting believing doesn't even enter the equation the biggest whisky tango foxtrot of all time in my book so to speak
thats odd.jpg

I noticed that this bug happens when I land too close to the settlement: I land first, then choose side, then disembark and dismiss ship. If I land about 250 metres from settlement nobody moves, at about 450 metres NPCs fight normally

Interesting. That might indicate an issue with AI-initiation on approach.

Hmmm to our records: it happens also more frequently on medium gCZs, settlement size doesn't make a difference (but of course it tends to be annoying in larger ones).
