On Foot Conflict Zones - Change in last 2 weeks?

I've been unable to play for the past couple of weeks and today I got back in game. I went back to doing the on foot conflict zones, which is what I was doing last. Normally after I complete a conflict zone, if I am wanting to do another one, I relog and join the next conflict zone. Now though when I relog the game loads me back at the concourse of the nearest station and not at the settlement where I was doing the conflict zone. Also my ship isn't there, it's still in orbit around the planet where I was doing the conflict zone, so I then have to transfer my ship to the station.

Is this part of an update? Has it been changed on purpose? If so... Why? 😕

FDev maybe feels there is not enough tedium in ED.

Having fun with conflict zones? Forget about it. Instead, you can now spend your valuable time recalling your ships to stations, waiting in excitement and then travelling back to the CZ again and again and again. God forbid you could do something that actually entertains you.

Which is strange because despite what support wrote in that email relogging is (unfortunately) a huge part of this game because of FDev's decisions.

Another bug. All troops stuck to the spot, won't move around. Two out of three CZs in two different systems (both times the Medium CZ was stuck, but one system also had a Low, which worked fine).

Getting a bit boring now. You can complete it very slowly by capturing the data beacons, as long as you don't shoot anyone until the reinforcements score goes to zero, but its tedious.
