On foot engineer unlocks.

Ok, so I'm out in Colonia , have unlocked all the engineers here, have upgraded all my suits and weapons to grade 5 and have applied all mods. I'm now getting enough mats so that I can unlock all the engineers in the bubble..

My question is: Why the bloody hell am I bothering? I have everything I need and I'm not that fond of on foot missions. I think I need to take the scenic route home.

I wonder whether my FC has a nice quiet padded room somewhere.

Wibble.

Organic PvP was my overriding reason for most ship Engineering, but this barely exists on-foot in Odyssey (I think I've encountered a grand total of three CMDRs in almost a thousand hours on-foot in Open, post alpha). So, not having encountered any PvE content that wasn't a cakewalk with off-the-shelf G3 gear, I've barely bothered with the Odyssey Engineers.

Good question, I've unlocked enough of the Bubble engineers to make the trip to Colonia pointless, so I'm not bothering.
I assume the same works in reverse.

The trip to Colonia is not pointless. IMO, everyone should go at least once. There are views there that can't be found in the bubble, well, anywhere in that region of the Galaxy.

Its like Dave Bowman's exclamation..."It's full of stars"...

I asked that question before starting suit engineering. :)
