Newcomer / Intro On Foot - what about mines?

I like grenades, I really do, but as a Fallout player I really miss the 'ol Bottlecap mine, or Frag mine, etc
Anyone else feel the same way...?

Funny, I've hardly ever used them in the Fallout games. I have used them in the Far Cry series, though. I'm more of a sniper/ninja style player most of the time.

In Odyssey I've become more of an in-your-face-shotgun kind of guy though

Might be interesting to have some sort of proximity explosive, though.

So you basically BECAME a proximity explosive.

I like the idea of land mines, but only if they don't award kill credit, since you know friendly NPCs will be dumb enough to step on them.
