On H-Jump...

Was shooting some ships in a "Res", maybe I hit some security vessel by accident. Got a 200 CR bounty. Weird thing is, I can not pay off even after the 10 minutes timer that seems also to count wrong.

First screenshot: Info says: Timer is over

but I had to wait another 1 minute to get this:

What's the sense of this status message ?

Currently I'm docked at station in the system i'm wanted in and the station belongs to the faction that wants me.

You have to hyperjump out and then back in. Once back in, it'll appear as a legacy fine and you can pay off.

What do mean by "hyperjump out and then back in" ? I jumped out of the RES and docked at the station.

sorry, english is not my native language.

Thats supercruise (inside systems). Hyperspace jump is the between systems one where you have to align to target.

Yes, this. The new mechanics mean you'll get hassle all the time you remain in the system but if you jump to another system and then back again, the system authority heat will be gone and you can dock and pay off the fine.

We get sent to Coventry (told to stand in the corner for 4mins) and then we can come back and apologise by paying the fine which awaits you at the station but until then you would not even know! Bad boy for hitting a ship that turned out to be WANTED anyway and could have had the cops scan and kill you (hehe)

Ah, I've got it. I will test this.

uhmm ? that's weird, I've have restarted my launcer -> logged in -> started the game: as written I'm docked without having left the system and NOW I can pay a fine. Seems like a bug to me.

Thanks guys for helping out anyway. Rep for everybody.

I think I will open an issue next day in the bugreporting forum. BTW: is it so hard to establish a real bugreporting system nowadays ? Don't bother with this post, I'm talking to myself. Have a good evening....

It's not a bug. Your legal status is computed when you enter a system. Logging out and in again is just another way of leaving and entering a system.

OK than combat log is also not a bug nor an exploit. It just work the same way. ;-)

True. ;) Combat logging triggers an error beyond control of the game. It has nothing to do with a programming error so there is no bug to exploit. The effect of restarting the game is advantageous to the combat logger because the game restores the last known state of the player's ship.
