On Hiatus

With 3.0.x plodding along, and my having done pretty much everything I can and want to do with what's available at this time, I'm taking a little hiatus. I've happened upon something that is a fascinating distraction and will be wasting my time there for a while. I'll still poke my head in Elite from time-to-time... I have PP standings to maintain, but aside from this, I am going to be absent for a while.

I still very much enjoy Elite, and will continue to enjoy it for quite some time, and these little breaks really help keep it enjoyable.

If you need me, certainly leave me a message here - I'll still be lurking around here, but discussions have largely stagnated, and the glacial pace of fixes and releases - well, they are what they are. It takes time to fix things, make things, implement things and all that.

Stay safe out there, commanders, and remember, kill pirates, increase your credit balance.

I'm on a break too. I've exchanged the gentle ED grind for the excruciating Elder Scrolls Online grind. Still watching with interest though and I'll be back.

I’m still here everyday as usual...but beginning to get that mid update apathetic feeling of comparing the grind to watching paint dry...and the forum is stagnating again into been there done that fer the umpteenth time round and round...

Might not be too far behind ye actually...

That's right. It's an island you can visit if you want to take a break from everything (except extreme natural events, obviously).

Taking a pause, too. Tried Witcher 3 on XBone, which i bought for wifey, now im into it. Already preordered State of Decay 2.
Lounging for the Q4 update, though, and hoping for small surprises inbetween...

I take breaks all the time, there is no one game to rule them all. ED's a keeper though always stays installed.

Looking at my flight log heatmap on EDSM, my breaks seem to involve a week or so at the most but i always end up back telling myself it'll be just an hour or two.
