Unfortunately my first post is on a grim theme but fantastic experience I had which made me feel like space is DANGEROUS.
I have started 5 days ago so sorry if i suggest things that have been said already
One thing I love, brutality can make the game very immersive at times.
After many many hours becoming overconfident I met her, overshadowed by debris and cold, silently running. I had no time to charge the fsd and escape.
This is not a rant, I loved the way I felt powerless and the challenge, but after the adrenaline I thought of something which would improve the experience.
I was at half shield when I became aware of the danger. Under attack voice was SLOW. My immediate suggestion is the ship should vibrate and move when attacked so the pilot feels the danger immediately.
Also an animation to show you are ejecting in the pod and losing conscience would make for a more convincing immersion.
