On my way down to PSR J0108

Ok People!

Some help here... If you can. PSR J0108 is the closest pulsar to earth... and I am nearly there. 400 odd LY to go. Problem is... There's nothing here! No stations, no civilization... nothing! It sure looks pretty round about here... But im in it for the money see? Pulsars produce Platinum. No stations, no cash. Im wayyy out, and I dont know what to do. Help an old horse out.

PS. Am I going to get isotope'd when I get there?

Sadly, no stations means no market to sell to. The developers did say that there is a process in place that if an uninhabited system was to become inhabited by people on a regular basis then eventually NPC stations would arrive in the system, they did however elude to this process taking weeks to months to complete depending on the level of activity and the distance from the nearest inhabited system. My guess is you might be in for a long wait :) That is if you survive the trip to tell the tale ;)

If your playing in open, it's never wise to broadcast your location what with natural predators flying around out there... they want you to feel their LOVE ;)

Keep going, it's well worth the trip just to see the system. Don't get too close to the pulsar, though, it's hazardous...

Well, nearly there anyway. Will be sure to do a bit of mining down there... and see if FD have made an accurate game! Pulsars produce massive quantities of heavy elements in real life. I'll report back, and if I'm right...well...good luck in finding me! Because I ain't coming back the way I came! :p

Ps. On a side note, about 100ly back, I dropped out of hyperspace and was shocked to drop between two suns! Contact binary, 2x G class. Took a screenie, but overwrote it with my password login for this forum. Duh! Forgot the name, but it was awesome. Cool game this. FD, if you read this, can you do something about the visual representation there? No gas flow. It would be nice. Awesome job guys! :)
