On ride photos are way overdue...

The ability to add an on ride camera and link it to a gift shop and be able to view the guests onride photo seems like a seriously missing feature and one that wouldn't take much upgrade from the existing mechanics.

Now that we have view spots, security cameras and even hotels as a new dynamic to the game it makes on ride photos even more of a glaring omission.

I think its time we pressed Frontier for this simple update. Put your name down in support of this here as a friendly petition if you would also like this feature implemented and maybe we can get it scratched off the to do list once and for all.

Do you mean a gift shop with real time updates connected to a camera? Or a gift shop which sells ride photos, also connected to a live time camera?

I would support something like that.

Although you can currently do your own by building a custom shop or extension of Just a Memento, placing tv screens and using your own screenshots with basic editing.

Both ways are easily integrated. I understand we can build our own make shift fantasy version of this but seeing people pause at the camera shop to look at photos is a theme park dynamic in almost all parks and needs to be coded into the game.

The popularity of the photos could even be linked to the placement of the camera using the excitement map of the coaster to bring in a strategy element too

Normally i don't like to do self promotion but in this case, i think there is quite a nice workaround i made for now to simulate on-ride photo's as good as we can.

(When the DLC arrives this tuesday we will even have a better looking camera that might be used)

Yes this is a workaround everybody can live with But i think the Camera in the new DLC is too large for that purpose. But maybe we get some pieces to build our own Camera :O If not we might be able to build one with the current Pieces, like you did
