On ride photos!!

This is a must, and a nice way to make some extra money. Why they were never in the first is beyond me.

Give the option to the player to sell ride photos individually or on a ride by ride basis, or the option to sell a photo pass which is esentially bulk buying say 4 photos for a discounted price which can be used on any on ride photo, of which the cost and number of photos it can be used for is determined by the player.

The photo passes could be purchased at guest services or any ride photo booth, which would be placed near the exit of any ride which has an on ride photo.

To add more depth we could choose to sell onride photos, keyring, fridge magnets or any combination.

On ride photos is something I'd love to see in planco 2. It should be a placeable camera scenery piece that triggers thru a track trigger or sequencer and records what's before it. It can be linked up to a photo shop where the photos are sold and a screen to display those photos for guests. I think it would be a rlly cool addition to have at ride exits and a cool visual elements on coasters.

I love the idea of photos being shown on screens/billboards too 😱 It could be you can connect multiple billboards to a ride, like how scenery items are connected to a trigger point.

I would love on-ride photo's as well :D

Altough preferrably with a modern touch where you will be able to place 1 shop where all (digital) pictures can be bought.
Prefferably it should work like hotels where you "link" the photodevice to a certain shop where the pictures will be sold :)

I too miss the on ride photos from the RCT3 era. I've been thinking to have a respective shop that is automatically linked/called for when the option is selected in the ride windows, sort of like how priority pass queues do where you turn on and then have to place the entry and exit to complete. I can't say I'm opposed to the idea of having a universal photo shop booth that would take care of multiple/all the rides that have the on-ride photo option selected. Either way, any implementation of would be a plus for me :)

Still no word on this one yet... I feel like the have fulfilled almost every other major request from the original game. I'm hopeful still. It's such a big part of real parks too. Maybe if not for release but a free update later?

I'm thinking if not at release, it's a perfect opportunity for an update. The Photography Update could include: On Ride Cameras on a pole and unmounted, after Ride stand-alone Photo Booth/Shop and matching Counter, Photo purchasing at the Gift Shops or the Guest Services, Roaming Staff Photographers, New Guest Behavior to line up and take a photo with the roaming photographer or to stand alongside a mascot and take a photo. Seems like a lot of pieces that would match something like PZ's tours and educator updates.

no sure if you saw the new entertainer short they posted. It has the underwater diver entertain with a camera and it takes guest photos.
I'm not sure that's a functional feature, could just be part of his entertainment animation. That said, I'd love to see functional on-ride photos in the game.

This is a feature I´ve been waiting for since PC1. I never unterstood why onride photos didn´t make it in the original game, since we had them in RCT3. And it´s a theme park classic in real life. In combination with photos I´d like to see the option to link a shop where you sell photos and souvenirs to a certain ride. Guests who enjoyed the ride would then be more inclined to buy stuff from that shop. This would allow us to build the typical exit through the gift shop that most parks have - and it would add to the management side of the game.

Wait, this wasn't a thing in PC1? We absolutely need this. It feels especially water rides have them a lot. And what a fun way to include this akward diver in the theming then.

Someone else mentioned ride specific merchandise such as shirts, keychains, mugs ect. which really should be a thing.

This and midway games were really what I was hoping for from PC2.
