I didn't include the Mercenary edition because that seems to be a second Eagle ship docked in a system somewhere, not a ship that you start in.

certain Kickstarter tier backers get the option of a Cobra in a number of configs and different start systems.

I will start with Sidewinder and stay in that for a while as I make my way to deep Empire space. I'll sell my eagle...no use for that for what I want to accomplish.

That's correct. Part of the Kickstarter pledges rewards was to start with a Cobra and %k in credits IIRC.

Being that I only got on board days before PB1 started, there is no suitable option in the poll.. it seems to be geared solely towards kickstarter rewards. I want to vote.. I'm entitled to my vote... let me vote gosh darn it.

Same here! I can't vote. It will be a basic Sidewinder with 100CR, I guess (+ an Eagle docked "somewhere")

Tempted by the pirate with the hot Cobra but I'd want to know how far it's been upgraded and how wanted I am.

Presumably for balance reasons the more fancy gear, the more people after your head. The devil's in the details.

I wouldn''t want to find myself with a 100K bounty, enemy number one in all known systems but only D grade shields and a slightly upgraded peashooter to show for my life of crime.

You can spend close to 10 million kitting one of those bad boys out properly.
