Going to Start in my Sidewinder. Then i will sell it, sell the eagle, too. Buy a hauler, haul until i have ~450k. Then i will get a cobra and fit it to max jumprange und cargo capacity. With it i will haul some more until i can afford the first real hauler. Then i will trade around until i have a few mil for good outfitting of the cobra. After that i will get credits by trading or bounty hunting until i can get the ASP or imperial clipper. I will use that ship for pewpew :D

I hope to play offline with the standard starter ship. My internet typically has a high ping and I want the full experience of starting out as the lowest of the low.

Goal for Gamma (no wipes please!) is to make enough credits to buy and equip a Cobra for exploration and mining before release.

It's going to be expensive, my current ship is thusly equipped...it's over six million credits so far.

Cobra Mk III, 4k credits and in the Founders system.. but hopefully on the 22nd Nov or shortly afterwards :D as on the 16th Dec I'd expect to be out and about cruising the galaxy, the same as all the other alpha/beta commanders ;)

Crikey! that's a lot for a Cobra. I think I would have upgraded to an Asp for the extra internal slots

Well...I can land a Cobra anywhere, not so with bigger ships.

Scooping up bits from mining gets painful in bigger ships, as does maneuvering around rocks.

Thirty two tons of cargo doesn't sound like much...but when it's all gold, palladium and platinum, it can add up quickly.

And most importantly, my kitted out Cobra is about what you pay for a stock Asp...an Asp with upgrades equal to my Cobra would be hugely expensive, way beyond my means.

Long range Cobra, 4k Cr., somewhere interesting, hopefully.

.... although I will probably start another commander with Sidewinder and 100 Cr. just to go through the initial grind one more time. :D

Same here! I can't vote. It will be a basic Sidewinder with 100CR, I guess (+ an Eagle docked "somewhere")

This is me, too. Hopefully I'll make enough credits on the way to my Eagle to afford a powerplant for it. Assuming they are for sale...

Z....

Hi all, first I will earn some credits by trading than I will buy an Asp explorer and I will join the Federal military in order to be an officer. I don't like the bounty hunter idea. A bounty hunter is like an opportunist and a ruthless killer. He doesn't have a purpose, he is not fighting for a cause. I hope that with the game release all missions will be implemented.
