Well as Colonization is in beta, and guidance is or has been patchy at best. Is it a plausable idea for Fdev to give us very good Commanders, for supporting this unfinished gameplay so enthusiastically, one opportunity to reposition our settlements and ports when the beta finally ends?.

I really enjoy my system, even the hauling is fun, although it is a bit sadistic at 3am finishing my settlement, and it would be nice to just 'move a few pieces around' so they make a bit more sense, if you know what I mean. Afterall, we all want our systems to contribute positively to the game economy as much as possible.

Is this something others want, or are people happy to live with their mistakes?. My concern is that if in the med/long term people are unsatisfied they will abandon their systems and leave the expanded bubble an unfinished mess

id 100% agree with this - i have a system where I built 40 ish facilities and then the guideance came out for stong / weak links and most things are completely in the wrong place.

cant see it happening though :)

The bubble will be an unfinished mess. The rules have changed so much during testing that many systems need a full wipe to be recovered and even then they cannot do what the creator had originally envisioned. A move is a bandaid. Any solution that requires players to put in work to recover a system will only be done on the few good systems. All the rather middling to tiny systems aren't worth the time to go fix and will be that way forever. The only thing that'd remove them is a forced full wipe and they said they're not doing it.

Moving and cancelling so people can alter their systems and fix mistakes that took hours or weeks of hauling to make is a good move. It's just not going to clean up the bubble there's no motivation. You'd have to pay me to reset my systems even though they're now useless dead markets and horrible mixes. I get paid to have them so not having them needs a perk and none of the systems are good enough that I'd pick those systems with the current rules. It's a tiny payout but I worked for them I'm keeping my 2 space dollars of income.
