One day I am going to learn......

I don't go to Robigo often as I usually haunt other systems like Fehu and Quince.

But I need to learn to enter the Robigo system in a mode other than Open so I don't inadvertently become the game content of that Beverly Hills Samurai Bambi guy.

This time I felt pretty good having made it to the station and was in the NFZ about a click out waiting my turn for pad 3 when BAM! I was shredded in less than 3 seconds to the insurance screen. Back to 19 jumps out and headed back in.

Gotta remember to sneak in this time. Real quiet like. :D

The trick to surviving a cat and mouse situation? Don't be the mouse.

Unfortunately for me my Shadow Asp isn't made for playing with cats. LOL

I was easy prey. I barely hit "N" (full throttle) and tried to maneuver before all was lost. He hit me with something heavy like rails or, who knows.

Oh well. Docked in Robigo now and logged ready for my next session in the early AM (Central US). Maybe Bambi will be sleeping so I can sneak out in Open tomorrow.

I've always found it annoying and limiting for no apparent reason, that you can't use your radar while docked. Also unless you happen to look up, you don't know if there's a ship above your pad until you move off of it. Kind of funny that in an age of space flight, proper safety measures for backing out of your parking spot still boil down to looking over your shoulder and checking your blind spot...

it's a shame there's no shipyard at Robigo so that you can get retribution. It must be like a turkey shoot when you park your FDL just above the launch pad at Robigo.
