Wanted to play like Luke Skywalker and fly in the trenches of the starting starport. Went quite well until I was inside the station but still outside. Some nice graphical effects inside.

And are we getting the 200 billion stars in the final release?

400 billion systems. Not sure about the "rogue" systems or dark systems how they factor into that.

You didn't take some screenies by any chance did you?

As far as I know we are getting a huge number of systems, but some parts of the galaxy will be closed still. Those areas will be opened up over time, perhaps as DLC (don't quote me on that!) for things like aliens etc.

I think it's exactly like that. At least from what I understood from David Braben's presentations.
Also I guess we'll be "able" to get to the dark systems by misjumps.
