AAAAAARGGGHHHHHH!!! but I can't find it. It's the one that finally stops all the stupid spam emails notifying me about who people walked past someone in the street whose neighbour once had a pet cat who caught a mouse in the garden of someone who hung some racy underwear out on the washing line which briefly distracted someone who was considering creating a new post on the E|D forums but in a moment of clarity realised that there had probably been enough complaints about the FSS that afternoon...

Click where it says your name at the top-right of the screen, next to the little envelope and the alarm bell.
Click "Preferences" at the bottom of the little drop-down menu.
Tick and untick boxes until your heart's content.
Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.

I thought it'd be cool to enable the push-notifications.
Disabled it again about 10 minutes later.

The key one is just before Search Options : Push Notifications .... Uncheck the box that says something about receive emails every time someone comments etc. etc.
