One thing I don't like about the next update FDev.

Why is the throttle toggle function for coming out of hyperspace connected to the Super Cruise Assist?
I'm not going to use the sca but I'd like to be able to set the throttle to zero when coming out of a jump.
People have been asking for a toggle option before, now it's linked to another system many of us might not want to use.

it's not designed for you. its for new players with little to no experience. if you want to fly around with training wheels have at it but don't complain when they get in the way.

why don't you throttle down when you start the jump sequence? once you've entered the tunnel you can simply cut engines and you will stop on the other side.
much like when you are flying to a station you can set throttle to 75% and you won't fly past or get trapped in the hyperspeed when approaching the station.
Personally I have my throttle set to my keys 1=100% 2=75% 3=50% 4=25%-5=R25% 6=r50% 7=r75% 8=r100% tilde=full stop, makes for easy access to speed. I would imagine there is something similar that can be done on hotas.

doesn't work if you're playing with keyboard. you have to do it after the jump.

Yes the setting will remain the same because you have to throttle up to jump, but when I used to play with keyboard/mouse you could zero throttle while in either in countdown or hyperspace and it would remain zero on exit. Maybe they have changed it since I started playing with joystick.

No change. It's how I've always done it. Hit Zero throttle on my keyboard during countdown always works for me.

No you don't. I've used keyboard settings since day 1. I have all my throttle settings bound to the laptop number pad & can set the System entry throttle speed to whatever once the countdown starts.
In fact it's usually at 75% throttle as this setting allows the hyperjump without the 'throttle up' message.

But, when entering a NS systems it's set to 0 on the countdown

Consequently, keyboard will override a throttle. I use it all the time to instantly switch to 75% throttle. I've also used it to cut throttle after jumping. This is also how Voice Attack works since it uses keyboard to issue commands. :)

Wow you're a cheery fellow aren't you?

I was just pointing this out as several people asked for this option over time.
I've been using the throttle down during countdown since the start four years ago.
During long exploration trips this option could just be convenient imho without having to use the auto cruise.

Make training icon smaller on right panel. Swap galnet news with trainings. On Thu, it looks like training was large and galnet was small icons.
Most used should be large. I guess training for most of us will be used the leased

I was under the impression that toggling hyper jump throttling on/off was not restricted to ships that have supercruise assist module. Hyper-jump and supercruise are two different things.
