Thanks to this fascinating website detailing the weight of Cuban cigars in 2016 - http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/topic/93095-list-of-cuban-cigar-weights/
I've been able to work out, based on an average weight of 10 grams per cigar, that 1 metric ton is in fact around 100,000 cigars!
So when asking for 50 tons of cigars from each CMDR engineer Hera Tani, is in fact asking for approximately 5 million cigars.
Considering that maybe as many as 50,000 CMDRs could be tempted to deliver them to her to gain access to her services, she will possibly receive in excess of 250 billion cigars in the coming months!
Man, she sure does like those cigars!
If she were in fact intent on attempting to smoke them all, at approximately 20 minutes per cigar... chain smoking, and without sleep, she would require around 9,512,938 and a half years to finish up.
