Or don't, because only 0.8 out of the 2.00 tons is used, at most, per jump, and the fuel adds mass that might mean you can't jump as far.
I have literally made a jump only because I jumped to, and back from, another neighbouring star so as to run my tank, and thus mass, down enough.
