One-way signs

I would really like to see some option on the original signs or 1 or 2 signs with the function to put in over/next to a path and make it a one-way street just like RCT.

this would be great for paths that come from the exit of a ride and are very long and you don't want peeps to walk on it and just crowd up the place.

I'm making a haunted house ride and the exit is in the building and it has a long path to its outside of the building and back to the normal path, i would love to block it for peeps going in because its all themed and feels weird if peeps walk there who have not ride the haunted house ride.

I think we should get

One way path
Staff only path
Walk through attraction path.

Each one marks the start and end with a signpost (something like the queue - path connector).

This would allow for much more flexibility in path making.

One-way paths were used in the RCT games to prevent guests from getting stuck in ride exits or wandering into areas that you don't want them in. In Planet Coaster, guests do not wonder at all, they always have a target destination in mind. Guests will never walk up to a ride exit path. Staff only paths would work wonders, especially along with the staff room update, creating a functional backstage area would be something entirely new to the genre.

As Lurker mention, walk-through attractions. This is genius, maybe even like a tour guide system that has a group of guests follow a staff member around the park. Haunted houses would be a possibility with this system. Set up reaction points and trigger points for the guests: When guests are here, hold them for X seconds, have them look at Y, pick a suitable reaction. But Planet Coaster would need an update that makes paths able to be saved in a blueprint.

I absolutely agree with these points!
With the staff buildings now, I would love to have "Staff only signs" like in RCT3 or have "one-Way Path Signs" as well. I know that the path system is quite complicated, so I prefer "path signs" rather than have a dedicated path type (especially as the path type would need to have all available textures to fit in every park)...

I hope that the devs will find a solution for that, and I'm sure they were thinking about this when doing the staff buildings.

I'd love some one-way signs. There are some times where my guests get clogged in areas and it would be nice to have a way to direct foot traffic.

I agree with G13nn and krisj1990. One way paths/signs would be very useful when you want to manage guest flow through certain areas.
it happens very often when you have popular rides that the queue becomes full and the guest are just running back and forth.
It also happens when guest can't afford a popular ride. The areas around them will be very clogged up.

With one way paths/signs you could force them to in a certain direction which would improve the guest flow in those areas.
One could have to larger parallel paths which each had their own one way direction and cross paths between them.

Yes, well explained. As the guests are programmed at the moment for Planet Coaster. We don't really need this feature.
