I year already?!
Massive congratulations and a massive thank you to the whole Frontier team. It seems like forever ago and yet, like yesterday since Planet Coaster was first announced. And what a ride it's been.
I'm going to be lazy and repeat what I said in 3pmusic's video thread as it sums up how I feel.
I can't believe it's been a year. I still remember the feeling I had when I first opened the game. That amazing music kicked in and by the time that the brilliant flourish of notes played as the first park appeared on my screen I was almost emotional and felt really elated. We'd all followed the development from the first announcement trailer of the game to that point and it really felt like a journey. You really felt like you were part of something special.
And I think that special is exactly what this game is. It's the themepark game many of us have been waiting for, for over a decade. But it's not just the game. Frontier have been such an amazing team. The love and care they're putting in is unparalleled. They listening to what we've been asking for and they're definitely the right people to be making this game. And don't forget our community managers, Zac, Bo and Ed. They've worked so hard to make it feel like we're all one big community, whether we are forum members or Frontier staff. And that's unique and very special. I've been lucky enough to spend time with the Frontier crew on more than one occasion and they really are an amazing, warm, welcoming, friendly and inspiring bunch of people. And great hugs too
So a massive thank you to everyone at Frontier for your amazing work and to this great, great community. I've met genuine friends here. And it's always good to see you all, whether it's here or in real life.
i have had the pleasure of being in here from the begining, and what a journey. So many awesome changes that i never thought could be make in such a game like this
