Only an added idea to C&P

I don’t really want to talk about C&P, but if C&P was focused on ships being the perpetrator of the crime and not the player, then why not just lock a player to their ship and restrict a rebuy, if they reach >= X notoriety.

If their ships is destroyed and they have >= X notoriety, then they not only lose their notoriety, and are unlocked from changing their ship, but the option of a rebuying their ship with the same loadout is also lost.

This will mean that not only would they return to a vanilla ship, but also a true punishment for committing the crime to begin with.

It might also lessen the killing spree of some commanders to only killing a set amount of players during a time period, and also add the fear of having to regrind again if they lose their fully kitted out, killing ship.

Another added punishment, although could be deemed cruel, is if the commander that has >= X notoriety loses connection to the network (even if it was not their fault) during combat, was then sent to the rebuy screen when returning to the game. (Optional)

This might give criminals the added challenge of surviving in a fight to keep their ship, or risk losing it.
