Only charity missions on BB

I'm in 34 Pegasi / Webb port, and there are only two kinds of missions to be had:

1. charity missions, where you donate money or cargo
2. Missions requiring Elite or Founder status that I can't pick up

The usual pirate hunting / courier / mining missions are nowherer to be found.
This seems weird. Anyone knows this is intended or a bug?

Any time I run into that, I pick a nearby system, look at what they're buying, and do a fast cheap trade run. Normally clears the problem.

This station is one end of my trade route so I'm selling/buying stuff here often, didn't make any difference.

Btw, something more strange: I've completed 10+ cargo donation and 20+ money donations for the local Fed faction, went from Friendly to Allied with the Feds and still no naval ascension mission for me. When I made top rank in Empire this would have been worth at least one rank if my memory serves right.

Also I've looked in a few neighboring systems, and there I see the opposite happening, namely no charity missions at all, only the normal missions.

Getting the same thing (want to keep the system close to my chest atm). Was neutral with all factions, have become allied with one of them, in doing so turned their Influence from Red to Blue.

I'm still only being offered Donate missions, and any mission that offers payment is Elite/Founder required. I can't find any mention of the system's wealth/QoL but am thinking that this may be a factor?

Thinking this because I read somewhere about a CG that one side could run out of credits to pay you?

I used a donate only Station as the last stop of the night for a while. Got rid of the urge to do "just one more mission"

It's had the effect on me, I've done my bit for charity and put you back into the Blue, now give me some money. I think in this instance, that's the problem. Where I am is in the back of beyond and I can't shake the feeling it's economy needs stimulating.

Dreading buying a trade ship, but may have to try that for a day or two.
