Only Home, Contacts, Universal Cartographics. at my station

Okay .. what the hell did I break now?

I've come back to a station I have a kitted Cobra at in my recently purchased Python and the only station services I see are Home, Contacts, & Universal Cartographics!!

Logged out, waited a few, logged back in.. same. No fines, no fees, no bounties. In an uncontrolled system with a station/faction I'm "green" with. WTH ?

The Cerberus plague shuts down some services at stations. Could your system be in outbreak status?

I'm outside any power play bubble. However, when I enabled the power view .. the info placard now shows Aisling Duval and that there is 1 "contested" system. No other indications that things are going to get busy. Besides which why would any of this prevent me from getting at my hangar ??

20 Ophiuchi, Dajoar and Eleu are shut down due to disease outbreak (got nothing to do with Power Play). Your home is one of those?

Check Galnet. The top news article lists the systems and stations affected.

Edit: Maybe we all failed the Community Challenge so hard these are the consequences?

Also .. should I get the hell outta there or is there anything I can do to help get the outbreak under control ?? transport medicine ?

answered my own question. but in my defence .. I didn't know to look for such a thing.

There appears to be several systems and stations in my "stomping grounds" that are in trouble. Oh well.

Not too shabby with just me and my cobra ... no really, a cargo fitted Python. Why does a Python have more space for cargo than a Type 7, a dedicated cargo hauler? Some things man was never meant to know. For everything else, there's thargoids

I think we've got off lightly if the station managers have only shut down the markets and stuff.

They could have closed the blast doors. At least you can still get in and out. If I'd been in charge of the station I'd have gone full quarantine.

Edit:

We know these doors exist because way back in Beta there was a briefly occurring bug that triggered them on one particular station and if I remember correctly a commander managed to get footage of station doors actually opening or closing.

Congrats on finding a problem and being part of the solution :D (+1 for if you need something done properly then you have to do it yourself :p)

T7 costs 17mil, Python costs 55mil = more cargo space.

Instead of fixing that problem, why not try to help it progress? I'd love to see a small portion of space be swallowed up by plague, and the systems turned to anarchy.

Oh yeah, it's a plan! Eleu shall never recover! >:D
