Yup, i've planned tomorrow night for the download and patch notes read before going out with friends getting merry!
Casual dip in on on Wednesday to check out any new ships and starport interiors before I go out and do some sports.
Before finally a splurge Thursday night & all weekend checking out the rest.
I'm hoping to have explored everything by Sunday night because I have a "things I want to do before 2.2" list and it ain't getting shorter at the moment. So many Engineers I still want to mess with. Some stuff I want to mess with or complete before any potential nerfs hit etc.
Simply not enough time even though the 2.1 and 2.2 updates were delayed

You spend too much time on the forums. Unfortunately I am on a mini break in Edinburgh so will not get the chance to play until Wednesday. But I will be battering it
I think it might be related to if you're a backer or not (Alpha or Beta).
I'm curious to know if any of the ships changed, as altering them for balance is one thing (e.g. an Adder accidentally has the firepower of a FDS), but if they're going to be almost arbitrarily altered because a dev thinks a ship is too good/bad, then that adversely affects game play.
One change I would like to see is the relationship between shield size and ship mass. It seems rather arbitrary at the moment. A ship that appears to have good shields, doesn't. How is it calculated?

I said that only yesterday lol, I actually believe it too and am considering cooling off a bit
If you have the Lifetime pass (either at Kickstarter level or when it was briefly available) or bought Horizons + beta access (for the £5 or so more it was compared with Horizons base) then you have beta.
Today there will also be a new option on the store costing £7 which grants you beta access to this and all future season 2 betas. That will be 2.2 (this one) 2.3 and 2.4

Hmm.. definitely something to consider. I got the Horizons pass but don't think it included any betas so may have a look at that new option, if available. If not, enjoy the beta, guys!
