And by "you", I mean we, or at least myself.

So, I saw a Federal Condor (the piece of foil Federation parasite fighter that doesn't have an FSD), attacking an innocent trader--probably a smuggler, but I pay damn good money (all tax dollars mind you, as I'm a senior officer in the Fed Navy) for my illegal luxuries, and having the local authorities pop smugglers increases my costs (and thus the tax payer's)--and I felt compelled to act:

(I recommend 1440p, no matter the resolution of your display/window, because Youtube makes everything less than that look like turd)

Sir, I must say...that was glorious.

Now if I could hire you to get these cops that like to follow me in large clouds, insult me, ram me, and even take pot shots at me with my back turned, i'd be very appreciative XD

Lack of shields is detrimental. My Cobra is a dedicated trader and I don't mount any weapons or shields to save on weight and maximize cargo capacity/speed/jump range. I typically don't need them in this config since the ship can boost to 463 unlaiden, or ~430 with 56 tons in the hold.

The Condor is so small that I had a pretty good feeling that I'd only take minimal damage (I was right, 12% hull with stock bulkheads) from giving it a fatal bump. Cost less than 1k to repair.

An interesting bit of trivia from the Beta: The Condor (then called simply Federal Fighter) had a bug with it's fuel mass, meaning that for the purposes of collision damage, it did even more than an Anaconda. Any ship that hit one at any significant speed was destroyed...and they used to be all over Conflict Zones.

Ha, that was nice. I usually avoid collisions as I'm always reminded by two deaths from boost crushing into asteroids on the dark side of planet rings :/

Me too. That was actually the first time I deliberately rammed anything to death (had a few accidents in the past though). I probably would have used guns, if I had any on my ship...but that would have resulted in a bounty.

That's what I've taken to doing to the damn feds that keep shooting at me for bounty hunting. I can take down a Viper in my Cobra with no hull damage it I do it right. Eagles usually go in a single ram with the right angle and speed, Vipers are tougher...
