This all started with the Thargoids.

The Thargoids killed...everyone. In the beginning. Then came the saviours, and in typical evolutionary style, they killed off their predecessors.
The Chieftain killed the FAS
The Crusader killed the Gunship
The Challenger killed the FDS
The Krait mk2 killed the Python
The Krait Phantom killed the Asp, and lastly...
The Mamba killed the...Clipper? Apparently? I was expecting cries of FDL, but I think we all know, nothing's going to kill FD's beloved FDL.

The rest are just opinions that have been stated in the forum at one time or another.

It's interesting isn't it. Can anyone confirm if the Phantom has the same 2 pip infinite boost that the mk2 has? Coriolis numbers suggest it does. That is very interesting as it would make it the fastest combat ship by some way in terms of average speed maintained over the course of an engagement, and the armor and firepower aren't bad either.

Back in the beggining when there were hardly any ships the asp was used as a combat ship so it may have died several times when all the other ships got added over the years... the asp is a cylon!
