[OOC] ISO Roleplay PvE Private Group

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone here know of an in-game PvE Private Group that's strictly for roleplaying?
I'm having a hell of a time trying to find one that's still active out there.
If not, are you interested in having such a group available to join?
In general, I'm looking for such a private group to play in exclusively. I think it would be cool to always know that, if bumping into another player, that hailing each other wouldn't break us out of feeling immersed.
Not really looking for anything that's micromanaged and filled with events. Just something to help bring much needed life to the game while we all go about our business as usual.
If there's nothing like this available, I'd be happy to start something up with peeps who post in this thread (if there's enough people interested, of course).

While there is always the danger of undermining by trolls, I think the idea wouldn't be bad. The important thing would be to create ONE UNITED RP server group for all. No point fracturing people.

I play at the border though. Not much chance of meeting.

I wouldn't say that. I'm in an Explorer, and it wouldn't take too much convincing to get me to explore some far away regions.

I agree on one United RP. I found the following...

But the turn off is that they want you stay in a very small part of space, and that isn't very explorer friendly. I'd like to preserve chance meetings, but have them be just as immersive as the rest of my in-game experience (if that makes sense).

Honestly, I'm surprised that my interest in something like this appears to be so unique.

I stopped reading their rules long before that. Enforced participiation in a tons of activity, even those that could break character - something going against the serious RP part itself.

Yeah I am for a more open and friendly RP group... if need be starting it up oneselves.

So, I did a lot more digging in the last few days and found loads of RP groups. Most have broken up by now, others have merged or moved on, and otherwise, the groups have become very fragmented. From my perspective, it appears the best CoA for Roleplayers to really have rich experiences is to unite all the groups under an umbrella. This way, creating a new RP group won't divide the groups any further, and in fact, will bring more attention to each sub-group so each can grow.

You mentioned you may be up for starting something up? I'd be happy to tag team with you (and others who may be interested) in building a group who's purpose is to unify everyone.

My own group experiences in Elite Dangerous end at my own private group. Not sure how the server stuff is meant to work. I would open my P group up though.
