Elite / Frontier Oolite vs ffed3d

Hi Guys,

Played oolie 2 years ago. At th tile it was entertaining, but still had a solewhat beta feel.

I am thinking of sinking hours again in either oolit and ffed3d.

I know both have their qualities. In your opinion which one as of today is more entertaining ?

Different games scratching different gaming itches?

Oolite is remake of original Elite.
FFED3D is new engine and assets for (JJ)FFE.

If you want to pew pew and trade in massive, but otherwise conventional arcade space shooter, go with Oolite.

If you want to pew pew and trade in massive space game using fairly realistic (at least in terms of bare bones physics) spaceflight model, go with FFED3D (though last time I checked it felt very beta, so I prefer normal JJFFE or FE2, at least until Pioneer reaches somewhat more completed stage).
