I have to ask, why was this option removed? What purpose does it serve to remove the capability for commanders to conceal their faces?
As do I, it's a shame that this is now gone. The model is still in the game, as some NPCs still wear it.I like appearing faceless personally and this is pretty disappointing that there's no toggle for helmet glass opacity. Also I now have to set my helmet wearing setting to emergency only to edit holo-me faces instead of switching them to clear. Also despite having my helmet set to be always on my holo-me doesn't seem wear it while piloting and wearing the flight suit.
When I try doing this, the game forcibly unequips the helmet when leaving holo-me (visible by using the debug camera or the profile shot).Actually one of my Holo-Me characters had the opaque helmet on. I loaded that avatar and it's working as intended. Very weird. A workaround is to fire up Horizons and save your char with the opaque helmet option on, save and exit, go back to EDO and load him up.
Ouch...ok scratch Plan B then. Like Andro said, it's probably an oopsie. When I try doing this, the game forcibly unequips the helmet when leaving holo-me (visible by using the debug camera or the profile shot).
I hope so, it's a really big dealbreaker for me when it comes to things like open play or winging up.Ouch...ok scratch Plan B then. Like Andro said, it's probably an oopsie.
