'Open Galaxy Map' no longer defaults to target system?

This is mostly a 'VR Problem,' so I am asking here.

Previously, when I had a transaction pending in my Transaction tab.. something like 'Transport X Tons of Y to Station Z' I could click on the Transaction for the details. In that page there is an option to 'Open galaxy map' to plot a course for this mission.

Lets assume I am taking cargo to Leonard Nemoy station in LHS 3006 system.

If I opened the Galaxy Map through the detail of that transaction, the map would open with LHS 3006 selected.

Now, it opens with my current system selected. This means I have to take off my HMD and actually type LHS 3006 into the search in my galaxy map. Previously, I didn't have to do this.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Yup. I have the exact same issue, but don’t play flatscreen at all anymore so I assumed it was a global bug and not vr specific.

No problem. I've been on the look out for it to go back to the home system but it hasn't happened so far. Either way, I make it a habit of slightly moving my flight stick as soon as the galmap opens and that usually gets it to lock onto the proper system no matter where it's pointed at initially.

I noticed this. I think (though not entirely sure) that this only happens if you select it on the top tab of the transactions panel. When I selected the Galaxy Map from the Missions section further down the transactions panel, I am focused on the desired star system.

I will try that, thank you. I have been selecting it from the top tab so maybe that's the issue.

I appreciate the reply, it's fairly annoying to have to leave VR and type the system name. Especially when you're going to a wacky system like CG-X4532-LMNOP-86 Donkey Sigma 75Za Upsilon and you have to remember all that to type it in. lol

When opening the galaxy map from the missions on the mission board the map goes to the appropriate system. However from the transactions tab it stays on the system your in, but there are mission icons next to the systems applicable to your transactions so you can scroll to the systems without having to type or take the headset off.
