OPEN group anyone?

Disclaimer: this thread is in no way intended as a comment on the game modes, but is a suggestion for a new group.
This has no doubt been asked before but would anyone be interested in starting a private group that only use the 'open' universe.
This would mean an agreement of mutual trust among its members to abide by certain codes, i.e., not playing in private or solo mode (apart form the 'open' private group), not combat logging, and most of all, not being as precious about credits and ship losses.
I imagine there would be many problems and issues and it might be a lonely universe while recruiting like minded cmdr's but I for one would be more than willing to commit to this in order to realise a multiplayer 'only' experience.
What do you think?

I think you have your answer with the lack of any replies since you posted, although you might have got further if it was posted in the Dangerous Groups sub-forum.
.
It took me a few reads of your post to try to understand what you wanted from your new group, which I think is that (once signed up) you only play in your new group from then on, abiding by the rules, one of which is no combat logging. Apart from that it's the same as being in Open.
.
Really, you might as well join an existing group (maybe like Mobius with well over 9,000 members, but that doesn't permit interdictions, though PvP is allowed in specific circumstances) and accept their limitations otherwise you might end up with a group of 50 members spread around the galaxy and not seeing anybody.
.
Or just accept the limitations of Open if you want the option of interdicting CMDR's etc, i.e. that at some point you will come across someone who combat logs (and accepting it and moving on without getting angry), which would be better than being in a group with few people in it. To put that into perspective I've been playing in Mobius and although I'm in a central system I haven't seen another CMDR for about two weeks now, so your new group would be very lonely indeed until the numbers reached a reasonably high number.
