So I was running patrol in Colonia and vicinity tonight. Came across a Harmless ranked Commander in a Cobra III. Pulled them down (hey, you never know!), gave them a KWS scan, saw they were clean and wished them a good evening.

Well gee wilikers if they weren't the most pleasant person you ever did meet. After some introductions and jokes about my wanted status (that data didn't belong to Jaques no matter what he says, the drunk fool) we got to talking.

See, they were a player long ago who just reinstalled the game after getting a new computer. Their break had been a couple years, so they say. Fancy exploration and were just mucking about checking out all the new stuff. I got them caught up on quite a few of the changes to Colonia and the game and all that jazz too.

Ain't so bad out there, you know?

Any other stories like this? Let's keep it positive, yeah? For old Phisto's sake.

Can't give you a good story, but I can say you've just made sure I've clicked on open play tonight.

Edit- actually, to keep this positive, I'll be running missions in open on PS4 in Munshin. Any PvPers out there, feel free to give me some 'lessons' in combat. None if my ships are PvP ready, but if you're looking for a target for a couple of hours, come find me.

As I am currently on the return leg of DW2 random encounters in open seem unlikely, but MC is full of welcoming friendly Cmdrs, who are more than happy to share wing missions and rewards, even if you are just along for a chat on a ship doing trade runs
