Open World suggestion Sim city, not fortnite.

Just started. Bit late to the party Veteran from the 1980’s. Been reading online about game development issues. Would this game benefit from a user experience similar to sim city rather than fortnite. People could develop their own civilisations on settlements and the exploration can be integrated easier into this. Would be also rewarding to travel elsewhere and then come back to see the developments.

Developing your own civilisation is for demi gods or other mighty heroes and villains, our characters in Elite are much more ordinary than that, just mercenary truck drivers at heart.

Maybe it'll be the 'big feature' for 2024 .... on a more serious note, the 'player bases' suggestions already from the community is perhaps a nod in this direction and even this suggestions is not worth holding ones breath for.

But I like the suggestion .... not sure I have the application or patience in ED to build up my demi god status .....
