Opening Mission cant overload Airlock

80% energy in suit, but the energytool wont overload the airlock in the Opening Mission...what am i missing?

As above ^. Probably the "R" button to switch mode, then hold the mouse button.

You are most likely not listening to your buddy who is telling you exactly what needs to be done
EDIT: And yes, it seems like you are not switching to alternative mode on the tool.

Apparently it's a bug. I had the same story yesterday. Switching to overload mode did not let to overload. I tried switching few times, leave area with door and back to it again, and finally it worked.

It seems the tutorial mission is riddled with bugs.
