Good day citizens of the glorious Empire.

With news of the bombings in Kappa Fornacis recently, we cannot not let the Federation go unpunished. While it is not our right to impede on the operations occurring on Panem, we have other ways of flexing our military muscle. Heikegani, a small independent system on the fringe of Imperial and Federal space, has been chosen. With a decent hold on the system already and little Federation support, we stand good chance of securing the system. Here we will push the support for our faction to gain majority control over the system’s government. From there we will continue to push harder and harder on the borders between our two factions.

We will need many Imperial supporters to come to our aid in this system, for we will not be able to do it alone. We have a small task force willing to assist in the mission, but it is no where near enough. Hopefully once we get a large enough push for the system, the Senators will grant us extra support.

Any persons willing to assist in this endeavor will need to take missions to push the influence for our faction over the edge. We need to increase civil unrest within the owning faction, as well as lockdown. The more we push these two effects the higher chance we have at securing Heikegani.

If you support our cause, have any suggestions for the mission, or anything of the like, do not be afraid to respond to this communiqué.

Glory to the Emperor, bask in his glory!

Count, Imperial Navy

Course locked in.... and you do mean the "Empress" right? As Hengist is about to croak, and that new duchess(?) just revealed herself as his illegitimate daughter...

Sounds to be a noble Quest!

We will see there and bring power and glory.

Hail the Empire

A good turnout so far. We need more though. Keep supporting the Jet Creative Organization. It may not be profitable, but we must gain control.

This is ensign Ian van der Woude, we have intercepted your signal and are sending some support troops in a few hours. so be quick if you want to win. :p

I'm not sure if this is possible to do.

I've spent the last 4 hours doing missions in Heikegani, always and only for Jet Creative Organization (the empire faction in the system).
It keeps at 14% influence, and has not budged one bit. At all. I think I've done like 15-20 missions by now (and, yes, limiting to doing just one faction's missions only cuts down on profit immensely - I don't think I've earned much more than ~150k throughout this time). Heck, I've gone up from base friendly to allied with JCO. And still their influence has. not. moved. And, tbh, neither has any other faction's influence in the system.

All due respect to the Empire, but this kind of non-reactivity to a sustained activity for multiple hours, well.. it's disheartening. Severely. Like, what's the point?

Any Commanders participating, feel free to add me within the game, CMDR Zephyrrial. That way we can discuss our plans more in private.

We just need to be tenacious at it and with more than just a few people. I'm pretty sure that this won't be an instantaneous thing and will take several days. We shall see, Michael Brookes has stated it to be possible, in the case of the the Crimson State Party, but we shall see. This is really just another experiment, where hopefully we will see some interaction between Empire and Federation in this system, with maybe a large scale war occurring.

I've been doing missions for the Federation there for the past couple of days, by complete coincidence. This isn't like the Lugh experiment where I held off to see what would happen - this system is open play in my book...

You might be disappointed you haven't seen any change - but you may well have prevented a big swing to the Feds with your hard work! (Grrrrr ;-))

Then we would have seen a back-and-forth in the rep percentages. I'm all for the idea of this event, and I'm all for keeping in-character, but if game mechanics are broken, then they are broken. And I don't like wasting my time on pointless things.
