CMDRs, you are all invited to attend Operation Sapill Lawman!
This is a cross-platform gathering to honour a veteran CMDR who has passed on.
He was an avid fan of the game in the 80s, but was never able to experience the galaxy as we enjoy it today.
Fdev are renaming a planet in the system to Lawman and the four surface settlements after his children in honour of him and his family.
Following the lead of the family, please bring a Cobra Mk3, if you have one, as an acknowledgement to them and to maintain the link with Elite’s past o7

Times: 1st meet - 15:00, 2nd meet 20:30 UTC (in-game time)

The event will have two components. The first is intended to be a guard of honour welcome and acknowledgement of CMDR DRAGOSAN83, who is Lawman’s son and will be representing the family.
The second will be an after-event on the surface of the renamed planet and is intended to be a point to point between two of the renamed stations.
In line with other events we will be staging this in platform specific private groups in response to potential threats.
Sign-up for Friend Requests on consoles and to the PGs on all platforms will be through the Discord invite given above.
Please note that FR and PG sign-up cut-off will be at 23:00 UTC Monday Feb 27th
