I don't have any objection to the flying style - ie the irregular movements and such as bats will do that if their environment is crowded but ... what I find strange is that their flying animation in terms of space and variety seem lacking. Frontier made this enormous exhibit box (I expect it's a test for other flying animals of some sort), and the enrichment items are in fixed spots - but the bats neither fly to a new fixed spot (that I've seen), and the amount of space their animations take up are tiny, as if someone developed the bats for the older, small exhibit spaces but they threw them in the big ones. I'm okay with the bats/small flying animals being looped but it seems like they're not using the real estate they've required we accept.
