Opportunity to purchase any ship

Howdy,

I finally arrived at the Founder's World where I can purchase any ship type available.

Well that's what I thought. There is still restrictions according to rank when purchasing certain higher class ships.

I'm not a combat person but rather a trader/explorer and would dearly like to purchase the Imperial Courier. The ranking is Baron before I can purchase it.

I really thought that I had no restrictions if I had permit access to the Founders's world.

Is there a possibility that we can have purchase access to any of the ships without having to obtain the appropriate ranking?

Pretty sure the rank needed for the courier is only 'master' that's only rank 3, why should you get it without the grind others have had to do?

No way. You need the appropriate rank for buying a specific ship. If you are into trading i suggest you faction smuggling missions.
Good rank progression and good money. Just remember to:
Outfit a lot of heat sink
Learn to fly in silent running
Learn to avoid to be scanned by police
Outfit a low power demanding ship

Not sure why you thought this. It has always been the same. The ships are there and for sale, but you still need the rank for restricted ships. Best thing about Jameson though is that ALL modules are available

That is true, but unfortunately Jameson is not in Empire territiory so missions as such are federation style. It would be handy that equivalent ranking would gain you access to the restricted ships

There no easy button in life. So please stop asking for one. The players who Payed to enter founders world while helping Frontier in Alpha and Beta testing. We are not asking for ranking we want to earn it like the other players.

It not that hard to fly to a Empire territiory to earn that rank.

The OP Probably meant the Imperial Clipper for exploring versus the Courier fighter but the reply is still the same. Still if he has an Elite rating in Trade then using those skills should quickly make the Baron rank.

I meant to say Master for the purchase of the Courier. Pity I cant use my Petty Officer ranking.

Getting to Elite should not mean. I win everything in the game. The amount of money you spent on a game dose not mean you get everything in the game. If it did. The game would not last long. Why? Because there nothing to earn.

You know I payed for Design Decision. Forum access. Which was $300+. I got what I payed for. Here is the list.

1 Helping frontier on DDF. (Design Decision Forum)
2 Alpha and beta access.
3 Free Lifetime game upgrades.
4 A few ships. With a few upgrades. Everything from a Eagle setup as a Bounty Hunter to a Cobra Mk III setup as a Explorer or a Pirate. When you restart your game.
5 Access to Frontier world.

I did not see anywhere on that says. You can buy any type ship with out any rank on the founders world. All it said we had Access to Founders world. There no debate in that just facts.

Anyone who payed this amount. (there a lot of players) Did not ask for a easy button.

Getting to Elite is the START of the journey, not the end.
