Opposite side exit on coaster

Since I cannot do this in game think this would speed up loading of rides. Let us place the exit on the opposite side of the entrance gates on coaster stations. Ie. train heading north, gated on L side with entrance gates, let us place exit to ride on right side instead of limiting Left side only exits.

You CAN change the sides of entry and exit. There is a little Drop-Down Menu on the Right when you clicked on a Coaster Type to build. Before you place it, click on the Drop Down Menu, it will show you the various Options how People enter and Exit.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I am trying to figure out this same thing. There is no option in the lower right corner that I can see to do this. All i see is the multi select tool and the play button. I would really like to be able to do this as nearly ever coaster I've ever gotten on has had entrance on one side, exit on the other and it silly that I cannot change it.

I tried to edit mypost and i couldn't find a way, any who im trying to do this on a premade blueprint coaster. I don't see the option, do I have to edit the coaster to get the option? or is this only for coasters built from scratch?

I really don't understand why you aren't seeing this option. Start building a coaster and the 4 different layout options are the first thing that you'll see (big) at your screen. If you want to alter the layout later, you'll have even a second option right below...

Here is a screen shot that might help you understand this. You select your station type using the drop down menu located at the red arrow:
