I heard a woman singing and the source seemed to be from this yellow beam. Weird. Anyone else ever hear this?

Some holo-ad screens turn into a pattern design thing and start playing music similar to what you described. Not sure why they do that though.

I once forced myself to sit and watch the PBS version of Wagner's Das Rheingold series that was spread over 4 evenings (one stretched from 8 pm to 12 midnight on a worknight) just to say I watched it. The entire series. My conclusion is that if it had been slimmed down to just dialog, acting, and get rid of most of the looooooooooooong pieces of music, it would have made a really good 2 or 3-hour movie.
