Greetings commanders!
Preparing for my dual sticks to arrive and, as any good nerd, planning how to use them in great detail. I will be using a switch to adjust throttle up and down while in supercruise and other lazy flight scenarios where I don't want to use the second stick axis for thrust, which leads me to my question:
What is the exact percentage that gives the best turn rate? Is it:
a) Anywhere in the blue zone, doesn't matter
b) exactly 50%
c) some other value?
I want to set the increments for the throttle button to allow me to hit the perfect turning circle spot.
As a side note, the same question can be asked for the perfect supercruise approach speed - how to get that 6/5 second approach time without overshooting. I reckon it is a bit above 50% throttle, maybe even 60%, but I don't have the numbers to back it up. Anyone know for certain?
