Option for windows to be illuminated

When making a building, especially big ones such as hotels facades, it always seem a bit dead at night, due to having no light coming from the windows.
I think it would be nice to have a toggable option for all windows to have the window panes lit up. Ideally, this option would have three settings: always off, always on, and turns on at night. And an option to choose the color of the light coming from that window.
In other words, making the glass emissive on command, and being able to choose that emissive color.
 
This is one of the things i really would like to see added to the game.
If you could select if each window or door could be illuminated you could also select a few windows that remain dark (buildings with all windows lit up all the time isn't realistic at all). Maybe add a timer as well so that lights go on and off at certain times.
 
I wish the scenery building window pieces all had an option to illuminate at night or stay dark. I did like the last few sets of windows in PlanCo that were lit but I always wish they'd be like the lights where they would be off during the day and light up at night. Having a toggle option to have them act this way would be fantastic.
 
The problem with windows is that they (most of them) aren’t real windows. It's decoration on solid walls, only!

Back in RCT3 we had real windows which had impact in light going in and out of a building.
