Option to scrap purchased cosmetics for ARX?

Bought a ship kit for my corvette a year ago (i think) which was my biggest mistake in elite dangerous.
I'm fine with the outfits and other stuff i bought. But about the ship kit.. I don't like, want or need it. Even my friend who bought ship kit for his anaconda is not even happy with his action.
The kits do mismatch with the ship and paints. There is no reason to keep it.
Pls add option to scrap cosmetics for arx to costumers who are not satisfied with their purchases.

So why would you ever need more ARX if all you do is use a PJ trade it in for another etc, can't see it happening.

Support have been good to me at swapping PJs between ships when I bought the wrong one. I'm sure the OP could have done something like that - but not after an X month delay I would guess - second hand market in ship kits is pretty poor.

I gave up at their support when i submitted request for progress restoration (lost about 70 million due to station bug). Took so long, gave up, closed tickets, grinded on my end.

To be fair, yes they've been exceptionally good when I politely asked to get a store credit refund because I bought items for a ship that in hindsight didn't really enjoy flying (I realised this pretty soonish, after a few days). Didn't really expect them to agree to my request but am happy about the goodwill. Resulted in additional sales for them in the end

You could simply have a sell-tax, so selling a 1000arx thingy gets you 750arx or whatever. Would be nice, especially since I've got piles of paints I don't care for.
