Option to separate throttle axis so to use racing pedals

Hi,

In elite dangerous, as you all know, there is a single axis for throttle.
My suggestion would be to be able to have as well a separate axis for forward throttle, and another one for backward throttle.
Like for instance being able to use racing pedals, with the accelerate pedal to be the forward throttle (push the pedal to throttle, when you release it, it will decelerate to 0) and another pedal once you're at 0 to go backward.

I tried it in Star Citizen, and it works fine in a fight, and allow intuitive change of speed...

And moreover with a single axis it is kinda hard sometimes to find the 0 zone, to really stand still...

Isn't there a forward/reverse switcher button? That would effectively bring 0 throttle to 0 on the pedal.

I was totally going to buy pedals too, but I find the problem you outline really concerning.

At any rate I support this suggestion.
