Hi, this is Xul, moderator of the German Planet Coaster Forum at the "Spielerheim" (https://www.spielerheim.de/forum/index.php?board/287-planet-coaster-forum/).
When a park is closed, visitors will leave the park and be refunded the entrance fee. This has probably been designed to prevent players in challenge mode from cheating (open the park, collect entry, close the park, and then reopen the park to receive money again). So far, so good...
However, some players want to have a "more realistic" process in their parks and close the park for a certain season (e.g. during winter), in order to expand the park in "real time" and carry out maintenance work. No problem if you play "without money" in the sandbox. But in challenge mode/career parks you lose a lot of money and go broke quickly [cry]
That's why some members of our forum want to be able to optionally set whether visitors get their money back when you close the park. Of course this would also give the "cheaters" to use this option. But that shouldn't be Frontier's problem if players abuse this feature. It would be much more important to give players this opportunity who want to get an even more realistic experience in their parks.
If there is a technical reason that prohibits this option, let us know. Otherwise, it would be great if we could get this option in the game [up]
And of course I searched this forum for a similar post, but found nothing. So if the topic has already been discussed, I'm sorry. Then please post the link to this post [wink]
Greetings
