Optional ship mods?

Couldn't find an existing thread on this - surely there is one though?

Anyway - sunroof on the Cobra, please.

Would only work if you kept your ship correctly oriented. I'd prefer to see a hot tub on the rear deck. And a wine cooler for the champagne after victory parties

It's not for the sun, it's so that I can "head look" up, as in the Sidey.

There is no gravity aboard Elite: Dangerous ships. Not even when docked. As you might notice, when you dock in the zero-g environment. Not even there you could bathe.

The only place you can bathe would be in the luxury apartment towers sticking out of the station where there is the most gravity. And your ships stays near the centre of the station, so even when you elevator down there would be no gravity to speak of. That is in fact why that big Imperial ship has this rotating ring, to create gravity for the hot-shot passengers. The rest of that ship will see no gravity at all.

But by all means, let your personal sense of immersion collide with the facts of the game. Just ignore the lore and have yourself a merry little bath.

If it's a DLC, that specific one is pay to win as it provides an advantage if there's no downside to it. If it's something that can be bought using ingame credits, there should still be a downside to counterbalance the advantage the added visibility provides (e.g. the canopy being more prone to shattering).

Bathtubs, antlers etc. should be fine though. I'm personally looking forward to a black imperial clipper interior dlc.

Airlock to get in, remlok with 25 mins of air in it, and a tub room full of water.
Sounds fun, and perfectly do-able without breaking any physics or lore.
