Orange ship loading screen

You dont get too many chances to see your ship that your flying in all its glory, so when the loading screen comes up with the orange silhouette of the ship your currently in, why not show a hi res image of the ship ?

The orange ship is really just an animation, not an actual 3D model rotating. To create a high-res image of your ship, the program would actually need to render the model, and that may take away valuable resources from the loading and setting up that is happening in the background.
