You don't...
Server bandwidth allocation and amount of players does... when correct level the game works and loads in as normal...
When crapping its pants an area of space which is assigned to deal with on specific servers and has lot of players will Crap out and OS on players...
Only support can move players to systems not causing OS when under high load...
PC is overload and craps out often
Xbox has less players than PC, takes more to crap the bed.
PS4 has even less players so fails way way less
USA have now gone to bed so even less players are active... Yesterday was public holiday in USA and UK so more players more disconnects...

Unfortunately mine isn’t an overload problem. Minnie is cos I’ve landed on a glitchy planet and can’t log in until I’m moved. Wish it just was server load.
Have you filed an issue tracker report? The devs may be able to fix the issue?
Re:"how did I fix it?" = I just waited for half hour and tried again. Did nothing on my end.
