Is the question still relevant ?
Which Elite do you use, Odyssey or Horizon ?
EDHM v1.5 only works with Horizon. With Odyssey the shader addresses have changed. Best you have a look in the corresponding thread.
There is a beta for Odyssey via Discord.

looks like the mode will not work with AMD cpu & nvidia card, so i have still to wait for the release
